Peak’s Custom Butchering is a brand-new, growing custom meat processing facility in Remus, Michigan, and we’re looking for dependable people to join our team.
If you’re someone who likes to work with your hands, takes pride in doing a good job, and enjoys being part of a hardworking team, we’d like to hear from you.
Experience in a butcher shop or meat processing facility is great, but we are willing to train the right person.
What you'll do
What we're looking for

Process beef, pork, and other livestock
-
Cut and trim meat
-
Grind and package product
-
Follow customer cutting instructions

Use knives, saws, grinders, and other processing equipment

Keep work areas clean and sanitary

Follow food safety and safety procedures
-
Work with the team to keep production moving
• Dependable and on time
• Hardworking and willing to learn
• Able to work in a physical environment
• Comfortable working in cooler temperatures
• Comfortable working on your feet throughout the day
• Able to lift and move product as needed
• Willing to follow directions and safety procedures
• Previous meat processing experience is a plus, but not required
